Then more human-sounding footsteps as Hana's voice can be heard saying "sit there, Pacchan" from the other side. When she finally opens it, she's not at all at her usual level of energy or even put-togetherness, and understandably so. Her hair is loosely braided over her shoulder and instead of makeup, she wears a disposable medical mask on her face, over her nose and mouth.
Also unusual is the presence of a shiba inu at her feet, sitting obediently with her tail wagging in anticipation for meeting a new friend. Hana has told X'rhun about how she adopted a dog during last year's festival, but schedule and timing hadn't allowed her a chance to introduce her new pet to her not!grandfather until now - though she wishes she wasn't sick for it.
