I haven't really had space food. [ By virtue of not having been out to space. Yet. ] Is there anything out there that's like ice cream?

[The awesome comes with the name. Hana is superb.] You mean no one's given you some weird alien delicacy? [But he can't exactly say she's missing a lot. Earth has some pretty damn good food.]

Ice cream... Well, there was one place that had these weird things, tasted almost like custard fro-yo? But uh... even saltier. I haven't found anything as cool as ice cream yet.

[ She tilts her head, fry still hanging out of her mouth like a pro. ] Nope? It's not like we really knew about aliens or their food until you guys came back with all the Voltron stuff.

[ Which-- she still thinks is really cool. The rest of the world might be apprehensive, but to Hana it's straight out of old school mecha shows and she's totally on board. ]

That's lame, though! I bet you'll find real ice cream out there sometime, though. There's no way we're the only ones who have it.

True... Which means I'm gonna have to bring you something next time we meet up!

[He's glad for the support. It's been a pretty mixed situation, the mere story of what's going on in space getting misconstrued by too many anyway. But Lance likes the exploration, and sharing all the culinary magic happening out there.

He grins.] I hope not! Ice cream is a delicacy that should be shared across the universe. Speaking of which, we should get some after this.

[ Her face lights up immediately, because-- ice cream-- but it's with a wide grin on her face and practically a twinkle in her eyes that she cups her cheeks in her hands and leans forward. ]

You'd do that? Bring me back space food? Seriously?

[unfaltering]

[Lance can't help but beam. She looks way too excited over something that silly, but he nods.]

Sure will! If it crosses through the atmosphere without any problem then I'll pack you something decent! And space goo, because everyone should suffer through that at least once.
