[ but it hasn't exactly panned out since she hadn't been sure where they stood after their last encounter. ]

if that's what you want to do, maybe we should get tea together instead?

[ Oh! well tea is just as good too. ]

Tea sounds perfect. I'd like that a lot. Do you know of any good places?

[ There is that one cafe he went to with Genji for the soulmate thing, but he really doesn't want to go back. What if they remember him?! ]

Tea then we can go and play after we have our little chat! >:3

[ since she has a few guesses as to what he wants to talk about. ]

I'll send you the address! Want to meet up in like an hour? You're lucky you caught me on a day off~

[ And sure enough, in a few more moments Hana sends Shigeru the address of one of her favorite cafes in town. ]

[ ugh yes it is a chat that's a long time coming he feels. ]

Okay that sounds good to me!

[ And with that Shigeru will hang up. Come an hour later Hana can find him waiting outside the cafe with bundled up from the cold weather. He might look at the place curiously as he eyes the interior with some interest. He's never been to this place before but from the aroma wafting out the front door and the looks of things people are walking out with it looks really good. ]

[ Hana isn't running too far behind - military life instilled in her a necessity to keep better track of time when she's usually the type to show up late to everything but - having been here for some time, she's starting to slip back into old habits. When she sees Shigeru already waiting outside of the cafe she jogs over and waves at him as soon as she can make eye contact. ]

Shigeru! Sorry I'm late!

[ Shigeru gives a happy wave back to her. He's a bit nervous not exactly sure why honestly, but when it came to talking about his current crush he always managed to get butterflies in his stomach. ]

Oh it's okay! Don't worry about it. How have you been?

[ She's moving toward the door leading into the cafe as she reads Shigeru's message, holding the door open for him as she answers, ]

I've been doing well! [ which is to say, better than the last few weeks at least. ] Just hanging out and working and trying to work on my own projects. How about you?

About the same, actually. I have a lot of art projects that I've started that need to get done.

[ But he's been a bit...busy with everything else going on in his life. ]

A lot has happened so I...put them on hold for the time being.

[ She nods along; she completely understands that feeling. She'd been working on getting her channel set up and thinking about what sorts of programming she'd want on it - but then memories and everything else happened, too.

Hana leads them to the counter and looks up at the menu. ]

That's fair. But hey, hopefully things slow down now?

[ She glances back at Shigeru. ] The tea here's really good. And do you like sweets? The cakes here are good, too!
