Come open the door. I'm waiting outside, I brought some shit to help. I am so fucking sorry, Hana. You weren't supposed to catch the plague.
[ He's waiting outside in his red hoodie, with his leather jacket over it, leather pants and boots. A box under one arm as he waited with his phone out. He looked at least mostly better, but his nose was red still from coming back down from the illness. ]
[ He didn't get a response, but Hana did at least make an appearance at the door before too long. For her part, she was definitely the least cute that he'd seen her in a sweatshirt, yoga pants, and with hair in a loose, messy braid, and no makeup on. When she opened it for him she looked like she'd just woken up. ]
[ Her brows were furrowed at him, and she wanted to be pissed at him, honestly, but - it had been her choice, too. She could have backed out at any time, so the blame is theirs to share. At length, she sighed and shook her head and managed a tired smile. ]
Before you mentioned soup and tea? A solid ten. But I think I'm down to like, a six or five with soup and tea?
[ She stepped aside, opening the door more to let him in. ]
I deserve that, but, I'm a solid ten any day of the week.
[ He spoke with a grin, which looked funny with his red nose. He stepped inside, keeping the box on his hip.]
So, come on, let's go to your room, or wherever, it's my turn to help you out. I was smart and put everything in thermos' so it's all still hot and pretty much good to go just needs a spoon.
[ She just leveled a flat, unimpressed look at him for that comment. (Not that she would disagree, though.)
Hana closed the door behind Jason after he stepped in, then she was already ahead of him, shuffling on over to where her room was. Noticeably absent were her two roommates and the shiba inu Hana had adopted last month - likely all shooed away once Hana made her illness known and demanded they get away so she couldn't get them sick, too. The apartment was full of plants that Genji had been growing since they moved in, it was practically a jungle - and Hana's monster of a gaming setup was all stationed at one corner of the living room since - as Jason would find once she led them into her room - all the racks of clothes and shelves of books and stuffed animals left little space in there for the gaming station.
She went ahead and flopped back onto her bed face down when they got in and, muffled against her pillow, she called out to him, ]
[ Jason noticed the house was pretty empty, and he was pretty sure she mentioned roommates before, so, that was interesting. As he always does anywhere new he was looking for exits and such as he followed her..]
Nice place.
[ He spoke wondering just how pissed she was in truth, but he deserved it. He deserved most of his misery. Walking along he pulled the door shut after looking over the gaming station.]
When did you get sick? I was down about a week, I was pretty much better by the time the little shit broke in.
[ He spoke, he was still mad but not as mad. Moving over he sat the box down somewhere and pulled out the bigger thermos and unscrewed the lid to use as a makeshift bowl.]
It took me ages of asking to get Alfred to teach me to make this, it's pretty much a cure all. I owed you, so well, I made it for us both.
[ Which means he made it for him and brought her the left overs.]
[ She rolled over onto her side and watched him fiddle with the thermos. Maybe it was her fever talking, but it felt like Jason was always surprising her; from the moment they'd met she always had him pegged one way - like your typical 'bad boy' type. And while that wasn't necessarily wrong, he was... softer? Than he made himself out to be. He wouldn't have come to help her if he wasn't.
Even if she had some doubts about whether he really made the soup. Honestly she just had a hard time picturing him doing anything in the kitchen. ]
Yesterday morning, I guess. I tried to go in for a patrol with the Guard but they sent me home.
[ She gave him a small, sleepy, sickly little smile. ]
[ Learning to cook had come around the same time he learned to steal tires. When one was man of the house at age seven, you had to learn to improvise. Catherine was out of it so much that it fell on Jason to take care of her, then Alfred used that as a way to bond with the boy.
He held it over to her once he had poured it over, a spoon pulled from the bag as well.]
Yeah, your heading into the worst part of this, I'm sorry Hana. Just stay hydrated and don't try to use hot tottie that was a bad idea on my part.
[ of course he had been drinking while he was sick. He had to hold up that bad boy image, it protected the softer boy inside.]
Well, I do like to repay my debts, fortunately for you, I don't have an outfit either, but I don't think they make those for guys my size.
[ Hana had to muster the energy to sit back up a bit in order to receive the soup from Jason; once she had flopped down on the bed it was going to be difficult to leave a prone position but she had to for soup. She took the makeshift bowl into her hands with a small nod of thanks at him, something customary in her culture and a force of habit, though she really was thankful for the help. Unfortunately with her nose stuffy she couldn't smell it, so she took the spoon and stirred as she blew on the surface a bit to cool the soup faster. ]
Yeah, you'd probably just burst out of a nurse's out fit, huh. Lucky you.
[ She took a spoonful of soup and gave it a little sip to make sure it wasn't too hot before she took it. She looked- surprised. ]
Okay, what the hell? How does this soup still taste good when I can't even taste, like, anything else?
[ Jason spent long enough training in Asia that he didn't even seem phased by it. He offered a softer smile in return. He laughed when she spoke of him busting out.]
Yeah, your probably right. Lucky for us, I wouldn't try anyway. After my old side kick days I dont do outfits that show off my legs anyway.
[ He was glad Hana never saw the Robin Panties. ]
Because, Hana, I can cook. Shockingly, I'm sure. [ Truth be told it did his ego good to see people react to things he cooked so well. ] I learned how to make it from Alfred, like I said. Long story short, B didn't really have time to deal with me outside of crime fighting, so I was passed off to the butler for the most part. He taught me a lot of stuff you wouldn't expect.
[ If only the memory share had shown her the Robin Panties. Alas. ]
Wow.
[ She looked pleasantly surprised, in all honesty, and she helped herself to some more of the soup as he explained how he'd come to learn how to cook. That... was probably more than Hana could do. ]
Well, tell the butler that he taught you well. This is really good.
[ She managed a smile at him, a bit sleepily so, but it was the best she could manage for him given how fuzzy she felt in her head, how it showed in her messy, disheveled appearance. ]
If I ever see Alfred again, I'll pass it on, but considering I don't plan on ever going home I doubt I'll see the old man again. Unless he shows up here.

Not really, you just underestimate me.
