it kinda is a thing. in my country there's a nursery rhyme that every kid learns about a mountain rabbit that climbs a mountain by itself to gather food... idk, that kinda stuck with me too. and then there's the moon rabbit too!

for the moon rabbit, there's like a spot on the moon that people say looks like a rabbit, and they say the moon rabbit is up there pounding ingredients for rice cake like the kind we eat on lunar new year... uhh, and i think there's also a story about an emperor or something who asked a fox, a monkey and a rabbit to bring food and the rabbit threw itself into a fire and offered itself up so the emperor put his likeness on the moon or something like that

yeah, i mean i guess there's lots of rabbits in western stories too i just don't really know them. mostly i love bunnies cause theyre cute and powerful and they work super well with my branding. plus i look great in bunny ears!
